Boston, Ma

We took Hailee and Ty to the Boston Public Gardens and the Boston Common. We walked around Beacon Hill and then followed the Freedom Trail to Granary Burying Ground, the Old North Church, King's Chapel, Faneuil Hall, and Quincy Market. Though many of the shops were closed, it was still fun to visit and explore! We were so lucky to have Bryan as our tour guide as I would not have been able to explain anything historical.

Foxborough, MA & Providence, RI

We walked around Patriot Place and showed Hailee and Ty Gillette Stadium. We waited for our table to be ready by the fire and then enjoyed dinner before we went to Providence to visit another state and find dessert! Bryan knew just the street to take us to and we happened upon a fun European-esque area with Italian music and sparkly lights! The photos were taken on my phone so they aren't as nice, but I am happy we have them for the memories!

Webster Lake & Putnam, CT

Hailee found the most amazing restaurant on Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg, AKA Webster Lake. We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the lake. It got pretty chilly after the sun went down but we did see a beautiful sunset! We then decided to hit another state, so we drove across the border to Putnam, Connecticut to Walmart where we bought a Cheese Danish for dessert and lucked out and found a couple of Pokemon card packs (they are hard to come by).

Cape Cod, MA

We booked a VRBO and stayed in Dennisport, MA on the Cape. We got our bearings on Thursday and visited the beach, as well as the Kream N' Kone, which had over 1000 five star reviews (I wouldn't have given it 5 stars it was edible). The Cape Cod Creamery on the other hand, apart from their garbage customer service, was absolutely amazing! Luckily, the second time we visited, they had a much better, and not lazy, staff.

On Friday we drove to Provincetown and explored the city. Not every shop was open but we found a delicious place to eat lunch and we had a fun time walking the streets and looking at the Ocean. We went to the Cape Cod National Seashore and took some cute photos, even if the lighting wasn't ideal. We then drove back to Dennisport and enjoyed a much more delicious restaurant for dinner.

Saturday we headed to Martha's Vineyard and right before we got to the port, a deer jumped out in front of our car and ruined our headlight. A dog had chased the deer into the road and there was nothing we could do to not hit it. After dealing with that, we headed to Martha's Vineyard. We missed the ferry by about 15 minutes due to the accident, so we stopped by a small coffee shop to get breakfast while we waited for the next ferry. Garbage customer service there as well.

We walked around Edgartown, said hi to the many dogs, rode the bus to Oak Bluffs and saw the Gingerbread houses, and I bought a Martha's Vineyard sweatshirt! Many of the stops on the Vineyard were closed as it wasn't quite the beginning of the season yet but we still enjoyed our time taking pictures and walking around!

Martha's Vineyard

Cambridge, Ma

Before we dropped Hailee and Ty off at the airport we went to Cambridge to visit Harvard. It has always been Hailee's dream to visit Harvard Campus and we commemorated it well by walking around Harvard Square and Harvard Yard, visiting The Coop, and taking cute photos with their new Harvard sweatshirts! It was a great trip and we had so much fun! We are so happy they decided to fly to New England and invite us along for the ride!!
